• Two U.S. Senators introduced a bill that aims to foster the growth of S-Corporations ESOP ownership

• UK Engineering firm RJ Power Group has transitioned to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT)

• Employees at the United States’ oldest craft brewer are fighting to save the company by buying it themselves 

• Prof. Hand is back in Oxford this week (hence the use of a before historic in our title above) on a short a Visiting Fellowship with the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. Also in Oxford is the Centre for Mutual and Co-owned Business, a longstanding font of research on alternative forms of ownership.
