What We’ve Been Reading 

• In line with recent legislation, the Department of Labor has launched its new Division of Employee Ownership. Employee ownership advocates are pretty excited about it!

• A few weeks ago I went to DC for the Aspen Ideas Forum on employee ownership. The recorded videos are now available online

• We spoke this week with the author of this post about the “G” in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing

• Colorado lawyer Jason Weiner wants to build an alternative economy

• Jack Moriarty from Ownership America, a pro-employee ownership advocacy group, hit the Impact Alpha podcast

• Meanwhile, Steve Storkan (ED of Employee Ownership Exchange Network) and Loren Rodgers ED of National Center for Employee Ownership) were both on The ESOP Podcast

What We’ve Been Writing 

• Not much—it’s summer, after all. But Dr. Hand did learn this week about Employee Ownership Equals.
