• Align Impact, an investment advisory firm, hosted an information-rich webinar last month that’s worth a look: Building a Regenerative Economy Through Shared Ownership: Structures, Policy, and Investor Sentiment (thx Randall!)

• A new Texas trust law could simplify the creation of employee ownership trusts in Texas, but we don’t know much more yet

• New research has shown that workers who have the opportunity to participate in an ESOP enjoy higher retirement account balances 

• The IRS and Department of Labor are may be about to crack down on ESOPs, specifically the methods they use to transfer assets to employees
